Happy Birthday

Here are some bday pix from today and Saturday. I am hoping my brother in law will send me the ones he took soon. He always gets better ones than I do.

Going back to work?

I have some pix from Maddie's birthday that I will try and load up later today. Just thought I would do a quick post. I think I am going back to work in the fall. Last week I was offered a position by the director at Maddie's pre-school. I could either go full or part time but I think I will opt for part time. I will still have to get Nick back and forth to school, Maddie has dance class once a week etc etc. I am very much looking forward to working again. I love the kids and am glad that I stayed home for a few years but I am ready to get back out there and have a purpose other than cleaning (those of you who know me know that I hate cleaning!!!) it is thankless and exhausting (when you have a 4 year old tornado following behind you) and dont even get me started on the laundry issues we have. So working with grown ups (and still the kids) will be a breath of fresh air.
Today is Maddie's birthday and we have a party at her school so I better get ready. I ordered Care Bear cupcakes! I promise pix sometime this week. We have a very busy week. This is the only night we wont be at the ball field. Saturday is opening day so there are pizza parties, extra practices, carnivals, scrimmages etc....

I have been replaced!

A funny story about tee-ball last night. We have a little boy on our team named Tyven and ever since the first day he would bring me a flower for my hair and I would wear it every practice. So after I got there Tyven ran over to the flower spot to get me my flower. I was standing there and when he walked by me I bent down and he looked at me and said no and walked over to that cute little blonde in the pig tails and gave them to her. It was sooo funny and so cute. They were little sun flowers so Tyven's mom stuck each one in one of her ponytails. I have been replaced by a much younger and much cuter model. :)

Yes I have been slacking on the blog, but here is my excuse... my camera is not working properly so I have not any new photos other than the ones I take with my phone and those are not that great. but I have a few of Maddie's Valentine's day party at pre-school. She is with her teachers. Then we have the ones of tee-ball. Which is getting better. Except this Saturday she did not want to practice.. but she was tired from her dance.. it was a big day for her and Coach Papa does not like drink breaks... I love drink breaks. altho I do agree it takes a lot of time because after all they are 4 and 5 so nothing is done quickly.
This past whole weekend was really busy! Sat we had dance then immediately following I had a mom's meeting for baseball that lasted 30 min before we had practice. It was the longest practice ever! Sunday we tried to have family fun day .. we went to Mcds, Mini gofling and fed baby gaters... I will just say that there is no amount of fun that could make my kids forget to fight and leave it at that!
I did try and take some pics at the performance and thught my camera was working but when I tried it later at tee ball it was completely dead. I am hoping that I got the pix on the memory card. If I did I will def post. Maddie looked adorable!!! I dressed her in black tights and little skirt, found some funky ponytail holders.. too cute!

I know these pics are not the greatest but I neglected to get batteries for my camera assuming tonight would be like all the others and my girl would not be participating in practice but low and behold she proved me wrong! She was not out there for the whole practice but more than half! She did the warm up, played catch, outfield,and batted! woohoo Go Maddie!!! Nick has practice Wedneday and my mom is gonna stay with Maddie so I can actually watch Nick. When I have Maddie there for his practice she just wants to go to the playground which is on the other side of the park from the ball fields, so I miss all the little league action.
