Dancing Queen

Here are a few pictures from Maddie's dance recital. The girls did a fantastic job. We love Patty's Dance Studio. Miss Barbara is a wonderful teacher. Maddie had two performances one for tap and one for ballet. The outfit she wore for her ballet is the black one with the big polka dots. They danced to Dora's the Explorer's version of "We Got the Beat"
The blue one with the white boa in her hair was her tap routine and they danced to High Hopes
I had originally complained about the $10 ticket fee but after seeing all the work with all the lighting that is where all that money went. I believe that most that went to our girls so the studio could put on a terrific performance. I bought the DVD that the studio made so once I get that I will try and set it up so that everyone can see her perform. It might have to be on youtube. I have a few weeks to get that together.
We are taking the kids to Busch Gardens this weekend. As it turns out my whole family is going. My sister and I bought 2 yr passes for Seaworld, Aquatica, Busch Gardens and Adevnture Islands. We are always lucky with getting a really nice hotel on priceline. This time we get to stay at the Hyatt for $45 a night.
