Winter Snow

This slideshow was taken January 2007 when we went to Illinois for a visit. I thought it was appropriate to post because all my northern friends are still dealing with this white stuff and it is the middle of MARCH!

The Miracles Game

We went to the Miracles game last night. Some friends of ours won 6 tickets in a raffle and were nice enough to take us along. Maddie got to go for free since she can sit on our lap. It was a lot of fun. We tailgated for about an hour before the game. As you can see from the pics Maddie was not too thrilled about taking a pic with TC The Miracles mascot. I love the close up of her and her dad. The boy with Nick is his friend from his class and Diamondback teammate, Nolan. At the end of the game there was a nice fireworks display. If we were still living in Illinois we would have been preparing for yet another snowfall. As much as I miss my friends I do not miss the winters! Living in Florida has definitely spoiled me! :)

Uncle Ron and Aunt Paula visit Florida

Here are 3 pictures from our family dinner when Uncle Ron was here. I had to post all 3 even though they are very similar b/c I did not get one where EVRYONE was looking at the same time. This way everyone is in at least one of the pictures :) well everyone except for me and Paula! We were the photographers.
We had a nice visit with them. Aunt Kathy brought them to the kids ballgames and that was nice. I think they went home to some snow though. At least they got to enjoy the nice spring weather we were having. :)

Fashion Queen (well maybe not)

Maddie dressed herself up last weekend to play in the backyard.

Extreme Home Makeover and Mayer Electric

Pete received this email message from the marketing manager at Mayer Electric which is his employer:

In case you watch Extreme Home Makeover on TV this Sunday, March 23, perhaps you’ll take a little satisfaction in knowing that Mayer-Mobile helped make a family's dream home become reality. Mayer-Mobile, in conjuction with some of our key suppliers (Hubbell, Lutron, Lithonia, and Siemens), donated the bulk of electric materials for this home. Our customer, D's Electric, did the electrical work in the house

It makes us proud that Pete works for a company that would be involved with such a worthy cause. Would have been even nicer if one of the benefits for donating was a meeting with Ty Pennington. :0) (totally kidding)
