She did it!!!!!

I know these pics are not the greatest but I neglected to get batteries for my camera assuming tonight would be like all the others and my girl would not be participating in practice but low and behold she proved me wrong! She was not out there for the whole practice but more than half! She did the warm up, played catch, outfield,and batted! woohoo Go Maddie!!! Nick has practice Wedneday and my mom is gonna stay with Maddie so I can actually watch Nick. When I have Maddie there for his practice she just wants to go to the playground which is on the other side of the park from the ball fields, so I miss all the little league action. I promise pics before the end of the week! I can at least take one of Maddie with her "gear" on even if she is not into playing tee-ball. But whether or not she is into it, we have committed to coach the team so off to practice we will go. I wish that there was another girl on the team. That might help. We were supposed to have another Madison on our team but she has never showed up. :(
She still loves her dance though and maybe we can change her mind about tee-ball. I am not going to force her to play something she does not want to but I will encourage.
The other day I was at my parents with Maddie and she was eyeing the pool and asking when we could swim. My dad started talking to her about no floaties this year and going under the water.
She said "I dont want to hide unfer the water"
Papa said "You wont. I will be there and wont let you get hurt."
She said "I am not a mermaid!"
